3/5 Games for Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals
Winner of prior game must keep same character, but may change Super Art
Loser of prior game may switch character and Super Art

Matches will happen in a Fightcade private lobby. This lobby info will be accessible ONLY after you check in for the tournament in our discord at least 15 minutes prior to tournament time. The channel for this is called #event-check-in. Please make sure to follow the check in format to keep it easy on other players and the tournament staff. Also, You will be reporting your wins and losses during the tournament in the channel labelled #report-matches. Failure to report in the channel or If you report elsewhere, you will be given a warning and told to report it in the discord anyways.

To be considered "checked-in" you must have been approve by a staff member and then join the fight cade private lobby. If you do not do both of these steps, we will drop you from the challenge roster 5 minutes before the beginning of the hour.

Also, Your Fightcade, Challonge, and Discord name must be the same or somewhat similar. We're not going to have time to hunt who someone is.

You will be given 5 minutes (this is a guideline, not a hard rule) to begin playing your match when it's called in the Fightcade private lobby. Also, be mindful if you're asked to hold or to play the match off stream. We are going to do out best to stream al many matches as possible and will prioritize loser's matches over winners as we believe that people fighting for their tournament life should be given the spotlight.

If a player is missing, the other player will be given the victory if the other player has been left waiting and all other matches have been processed. If the other player is late and we decide to allow them to play, that player will receive a warning (Yellow Card).

We do not warn players twice.

If both players are not present when a match is called, both players are DQed. A winner will be picked but that winner will auto-lose the following match as well.

Regarding Connection and Latency: Our tournaments are REGION-FREE but we are primarily based out of the US. If a player has a connection issue, we expect that you will inform us ASAP and we will do our best to correct the issue. If a player has a connection issue, we will give them reasonable time to correct this. If they cannot, they will be DQed. If two players are having issues due to location with one another but no connection issues are present, they will just have play the game as is. If either party refuses, that party will be DQed for that match and given a YELLOW CARD.
