Brawl Challengers Tournament Rules and Regulations

1. Eligibility:

- The tournament is open to players in the NA region.

- Participants must have a stable internet connection and own a valid copy of Brawlhalla.

2. Registration:

- Join the on Matcherino and join Revel Esports JM discord for more details - https://discord.gg/Rbh2xG6J36

- Find the FGC Tournaments section and communicate in the Brawl-Info channel.

- Add DexTheAvenger as friend on Stream

- Registration closes Jan 26

- Late registrations will not be accepted.

3. Tournament Format:

- Double-elimination format.

- Best of 3 matches for early rounds, Best of 5 for semi-finals and finals.

- All matches will be played on the latest version of Brawlhalla

4. Lobby Invitation:

- For off stream games players can aggree on who creates the custom room and share code in discord and tagging his opponent

- Players must join game lobby within 10 minutes of receiving room code

- For On Stream games players will be provided with room code to join and play on stream

- Players must join game lobby within 10 minutes of receiving room code

5. Reporting Matches:

- Participants must report match results promptly to the tournament manament team.

- Screenshots of match results are recommended.

- Players can also use the match reporting feature on Matcherino to report scores.

6. Game Settings:

- Rounds: Best of 3 (Early rounds), Best of 5 (Semi-finals and Finals)

- Every 1v1 game must be created with the following Game Rules:

Game Mode: Stock
Teams: Off
Lives: 3
Match Time: 8:00
Gadgets: Off
Test Features: Off
Map Set: 1v1

- Every game must be created with the following Lobby Settings:

Region: US-East .
Friends: Off
Clanmates: Off
Room Number: On
Room Type: Custom
Lobby Mode Tournament 1v1
Max Players: 2 (1v1)
Map Choosing: Tournament Striking
Blind Pick: Off

7. Legend/Stance Locking

On the first game of any set, the lower seed player(s) must lock in their Legend(s) and Stance before the higher seed player(s) is required to. In every other game of a set, the winning player(s) of the previous game must lock in their Legend(s) and Stance before the losing player(s) is required to.
After both teams are locked in, the lobby can move forward and map striking begins.
On the first game of any set, the higher seed team/player must strike all but three stages from the map pool. The lower seed team may then choose from the remaining three stages by striking two.
Every game afterward within the set, the losing team/player of the previous game must strike all but three stages from the map pool. The winning team of the previous game may then choose from the remaining three stages by striking two.

8. Stoppage of Time / Interruption of Game

If a player has an unforeseen issue preventing them from starting their next match, they may have up to 5 minutes within their set to correct the issue and start their match. After 5 minutes, it is up to the discretion of the individual tournament organizer whether or not the offending team/player will forfeit their match or if additional time will be given for the team/player to correct their issue.
If the game has loaded and begun and a player has an unforeseen issue preventing them from competing in the game within the first 10 seconds of the game, they may suicide 3 times to prematurely terminate the game and correct their issue. As stated above, they will have 5 minutes within the entire set to correct these issues.

9. Check-in:

- Check-in on the tournament platform at least 15 minutes before the tournament start time in discord.

- Failure to check in may result in disqualification.

10. Late Arrival:

- Players must be ready to start their matches at the scheduled time.

- A 10-minute grace period will be given. After 10 minutes, the late player forfeits the first game. After 15 minutes, the late player forfeits the entire match.

11. Sportsmanship:

- Respect your fellow competitors. Any form of harassment or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in immediate disqualification.

- Follow the principles of fair play and good sportsmanship.

12. Rule Violations:

- Any violation of the rules may result in warnings, game forfeits, or disqualification, depending on the severity of the infraction.

13. Disputes:

- In the case of disputes, contact tournament organizers through the provided channels.

14. Final Decision:

- Tournament organizers have the final say on all matters. Decisions are non-negotiable.
